Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The ICP plasmas should be compared to microwave plasmas with respect to their advantages and disadvantages.

Concept introduction:

ICP plasmas or Inductively Coupled Plasmas are a high-temperature source of ion and they ionize, atomize, and decompose the samples. It uses inductively coupled plasmas to produce or form excited ions and atoms which help in emitting electromagnetic radiation at the wavelength characteristics of a specified element.

Plasmas generated by microwave are known as microwave plasmas. The magnetrons which generate plasmas are settled outside the plasma. With the help of quartz window, the radiation gets irradiated into the vacuum chamber.
