Concept Introduction:

The fundamental concept of conduction-convection heat transfer is applied in unsteady state. The slab is assumed to be hotter and that is to be cooled by immersing in a stream of flowing liquid. It is evident that the heat stored inside the slab will dissipate into the surrounding fluid in such a way that the magnitude of fluid temperature depends upon exposure time.
