Question

TO: DUHA SAMI (EXEC DIR OF BUS OPERATIONS/MAINT), MUNA TAREK (LEAD TECHNICAL
STAFF)
FROM: EMILY JONES (SENIOR LEASING AGENT)
SUBJECT: FEEDBACK ON PROPOSED MOBILE APP
DATE: 11/17/22
CC: NINA COOPER (CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE REP, FTS INC.)
Duha and Muna,
Thank you for taking up the request to add a mobile app, this is something that students are always asking
about when shopping for apartments. It is so good to know that the answer will be “yes we have one”, no
longer “we are planning to have one”.
I do have a concern about the current design proposal as I understand it. It is not uncommon for us to have
subleases and we should have a way for those tenants to be able to use the app. I know we have those
sublease contracts stored in the system so hopefully it would not be too much work to have the
functionality to link a request to a sublease contract not just the original lease.
Cheers,
Emily

SUBJECT: PROBLEM WITH THE MOBILE APP

Duha,
Since you asked for my thoughts in writing I will repeat what we talked about this morning.
Two problems
1. Lack of creativity, the developers really think that any problem will be common. Last night I had
to pull half a microwave out of the kitchen ceiling of apartment 2 at 9 Cherry Park, again. Patched
and painted the ceiling, they will have a new microwave tomorrow. Now would that be a problem
with the microwave or a problem with the ceiling, do you think the kids could figure out what to
report that under?
2. How about problems that are not in the apartments? Something like a parking lot light, or an
inflatable unicorn raft stuck on the roof. Might not want to assume the request will only be for a
unit.
By the way yes there really is a group of very drunk racoons in the storm sewer outside 5050 Oak St.,
Animal Control and the town sewer department is dealing with it. The voicemail said they were mutant
racoons, I did not see anything to suggest that, the caller might very well have been drunk as well.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Josh
