Quechua is one of the most widely spoken indigenous language of Peru. It is an official language of the country and is used as main everyday language in many rural areas. It is also spoken in western South America in other countries like, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. It is used in the Andean region where indigenous communities settled.
