(a) The two methods which are followed by the companies during the training process of the employees are explained below in the following points:-
1. OFF THE JOB TRAINING: This is the training method in which the training of employees is done away from the workplace to help the employees to gain some theoretical knowledge about the job responsibilities and process. It includes different techniques like classroom lectures/video conferencing, case studies, vestibule training etc.
2. ON THE JOB TRAINING : This method is usually applied after the employee has successfully accomplished off the job training modules. On the job training is defined as the method in which the theoretical knowledge of the employees are applied on the workplace to gain practical experience. It includes Internship, apprenticeship programmes etc.
