The heads of the US, the UK, and the USSR had many discussions at different places after the end of WWII. They had many conferences regarding post-war construction. Two of such conferences were the Yalta conference and the Potsdam conference.
The Yalta Conference (Crimea Conference) took place between the 4th to 11th February 1945. In this conference, "the Big Three " which were the US, the UK, and the USSR participated. The three nation-states were represented by their respective leaders who were President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Premier Josef Stalin, and Prime Minister Winston Churchill. It was held in Crimea close to Yalta, USSR. It was hosted by USSR and it took place at Livadia Palace. It is seen as the second in chronological order of the wartime conferences held between the three Big Powers.
The Postdam Conference took place between 17th July- 2nd August 1945. It was held in Postdam, Germany. The Big Three which the US, UK, and USSR participated in the conference. The three states were represented by PMs Winston Churchill and Clement Attlee, President Harry S. Truman, and Premier Josef Stalin.
