.1: With the current crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the lower level of motivation of employees can be attributed. The pandemic has endangered the world 's safety of thousands of people at work. The prospects for their work worry most of the employees. Workers feel like never before that safety at work is under threat. Their motivations are therefore very low
3.2: Herzberg's theory of motivational hygiene states that the drivers of job satisfaction differ from the drivers of job dissatisfaction. Absence of factors leading to job unhappiness will only reduce the degree of unhappiness, but will not satisfy employees.
Equity motivation theory states that employees are comparable with their colleagues' inputs and result; when equity exists, employees are motivated and inequality is felt demotivated.
