Hello, a step by step guide would be greatly appreciated. Please follow the NOTES & SUGGESTIONS at the bottom when solving, answering what is asked as I need to understand doing it and checking/verifying results, and show every step for understanding, thanks so much :)

Part 1. Consider the the two circuits below:
+5
V1
O-
4k
-o V
out
4k
Kt
V
out
Circuit A
Circuit B
For each circuit, use the ideal diode model (Von = 0V):
(a) Calculate Vout for each circuit using the input voltages for V1 and V2 provided in the
following table. You should provide your answers in a table similar to this one. Justify
each assumption you make for the diodes for each set of input voltages (i.e., show that
the assumptions for each diode are valid).
V1
V2
Vout (A)
Vout (B)
1.
5
2.
3.
4.
(b) Based on your results for the output voltage, what is the function of Circuit A? .. Circuit B?
Show your work & Verify results, follow
below:
NOTES and SUGGESTIONS
Start by picking a pair of voltages for V1 and V2, then guessing a mode for each of the
diodes. Solve the circuit based on the modes and verify if the modes are valid. In other
words, you need to verify that i > 0 for a diode assumed to be "on" or that v < 0 for a diode
assumed to be "off".
Alternatively, you can start by drawing every combination of "on" and "off" for the two
diodes, then try to match the diagrams with the given information.
Note that it is not necessary for both diodes to be simultaneously on or off.
