It is a warm summer afternoon and Chloe has just stepped off the bus and on to her driveway. Normally Chloe's family dog Max greets her off the bus. However today Max is very focused on guarding the neighbor's cat which has wondered into their yard to explore the new shrubs. Chloe tries to coax Max into the house but he only gets more excited at the sight of the unwelcomed intruder. Meanwhile the frightened cat seeks shelter beneath a newly bloomed holly bush. Chloe decides to refocus Max with his favorite beef flavored dog treat so that she can rescue the neighbor’s cat. After several attempts Max is placed in the house so that Chloe can now attempt to return the scared cat to her next door neighbor Mrs. DeSteven. With time and patience the cat slowly steps out beneath the bush and allows Chloe to pick her up and carry her to Mrs. DeSteven's porch door. As Chloe goes to set the cat down on the porch Max barks through the open window startling the cat. In response the cat bolts out of Chloe's arms and onto the porch leaving several long, deep and bleeding scratches on her upper arm and chest. Chloe responds with a "your welcome" to the cat and heads home to attend to her skin injuries. What tissue type(s) is/ are involved in the described injury?
