After this break the chromosome rearranges within itself Inversions are seen in crossing over of meiosis. Inversion suppress crosssing over in most of the cases. In some cases crossing over is completely prevented because of inversion.Inversions can be either Intrachromosomal :- alter cross over on the same chromosome.
