How is it that mold appeared on my samples? (in other words where did it come from or what is the source of the mold that grows on the samples?) I had 10 bags each bag had 3 slices of apple and 3 pieces of bread, 5 bags where left in a dark warm place and 5 where left in a bright warm place. 2 bags were control bags, 2 contained the fruit/bread and 1 tsp of vinegar, 2 contained fruit/bread and 1 tsp of water, 2 contained fruit/bread and 1 tsp of lemon juice, and 2 contained fruit/bread and 1 tsp of sugar water. The fruit and bread were mixed together in the same bag.
