How has urbanization changed Chicago?

Expert Solution
Introduction

Chicago is a city in Illinois state. The region was originally inhabited by Miami, Sauk, and Fox people who were succeeded by the Potawatomi tribe in the eighteenth century. The first Europeans in the region were French who named the region after an Algonquian word for onion which was found abundant in the region. The region became part of the United States through subsequent treaties with the natives such as the Treaty of Greenville in 1795, the Treaty of St. Loius in 1816, and the Treaty of Chicago in 1833.
