technique(s) that we have discussed (IR, MS, 'H NMR, 13C NMR) to distinguish, for
certain, which of the two compounds was in a sample. Discuss ALL signals that would
help you differentiate the two compounds. (There is no need to list common signals as
they would not help in the identification). If you determine that a technique is not useful
in the identification, then provide a short explanation (1 or 2 sentences) as to why.
