I would like to know if I can use the numeric solver function on the calculator to double check my works afterwards. I havent quite figured out how to do that on a TI-84 calculator. Hello so as I mentioned below, I am able to solve my work by hand using algebra. I know my tutor mentioned their is a function on the TI-84 calculator called numeric solver where I can input the equation to solve for x. In this case when  solved it by hand it gave me -92 for x. Can you tell me step by step how to input it into the calculator afterwards using the numeric solver to double check my answer. Much thanks this would really help. Maybe add pictures of the ti-84 because I really dont understand how to use it. Which part of the equation would go on top and which on the bottom.
