Hello there, this is my very first time using Bartleby! My first submission. This Algebra problem is a thorn in my side. The first image is the problem itself and you will notice in the answer instruction to submit ' type an integer or a decimal'. The decimal form I got was way too long and not how the answers to these questions end up. Just wondering how to get some help and instruction so I can learn what I'm doing wrong.
The second image is the work I did on the problem with the answer highlighted at the bottom left in fraction form. the highlighted area in the middle right (not the crossed out highlights) is where I think I' still right in my operations but I feel something went wrong between that and the answer? Please help ! :)
