Four couples had dizygotic (or more properly trizygoyic) triplets in the same hospital on the same day. The staff lost track of which set of triples go with which parents. Match the set of triplets(right numbers) with the parents (left) by their blood types. Fill in JUST the appropriate parents(Letter A, B, C or D) in the box next to the triplets. The blood types in children represent possible blood types, but not in the expected ratios and may not include all possibilities. There is one unique match over the possible families. - Blood group system was discoverd by an Austrian scientist named Karl Landsteiner. He divided blood into different groups on the basis of agglutination pattern of red blood cells into different serum. Blood types are inherited to offsprings from both the parents.
- ABO blood grouping is based on two antigen which are known as -Antigen A and Antigen B. This ABO blood system is further divided into four types on the presence or absence of antigens present on the red blood cells surface and antibodies which are found in plasma.
