Expert Solution
Gain:

The first stage is basically a non-inverting amplifier.

The gain of a noninverting amplifier is given by the below formula,

Av=R2+R3R3

Here, R2 = 160kohm and R3=20kohm

Av1=120+2020 = 7

The second stage is inverting the amplifier

Av=R2R1

R2 = 160kohm and R1=20kohm

Av2=12020=6

The overall gain of the circuit will be

As both amplifiers are in cascaded connection, the overall gain will be the product of individual gain

Av= Av1×Av2 = 7×6= 42
