Describe how the music changes throughout the piece.
Describe how the music changes throughout the piece. It is not important that you mention the name of the percussion instruments, just describe what you see/hear (and when). In this example, it is important to mention who leads (has the melody) and who accompanies. Is there a role reversal at some point? There is a distinctive section in the middle. How does it distinguish itself from the beginning? How would you describe this type of music? How does the piece end?

If you perform a piece of music, even if you are just singing and dancing to your favourite song, then - whether you know it or not - you are showing that you have a sense of what the elements of music are. The evolution of music has been exceptional, with influences from all over the world. From the 20th century and further, music has grown and evolved into different genres that cater to individual preferences. Despite the changes in modes of listening to music, the feel of listening to music remains the same. The journey of music has faced many ups and downs but has contributed towards making a better, faster, and more musical lifestyle. In order to replicate the rhythm you are showing that you have a sense of the pulse and of the different durations of the notes you are singing and by singing the melody you are showing a sense of how the different pitches relate to one another (these are called intervals). If you were then to sing along to a recording of the song, you would automatically adjust your pitch and tempo so that they matched what you were listening to - you are more musical than you know.
