Sara is the information Technology Director of a medium sized firm. She observes that the newly installed management information system (MIS) is not being used by meddle mangers as much as we originally expected. Recognizing there is suray a problem; Sara develops the following broad problem statement:" What should be done to increase the use of the newly installed MIS by our middle managers?". For this purpose, she collected information by talking to some the middle level managers; Sara finds that many of them have little idea as to what the MIS is all about, and what kinds of information it can provide. Sara uses Google Scholar to explore future information on the lack of use of management information systems in organization. The search indicates that many middle level managers are not open to new ideas or way of solving problem. To test research hypothesis the researcher develops short questionnaire measuring the various factors theorized to influence the use of the MIS by managers from 35 organizations. Sara concludes that many mangers do not use the MIs, because they do not believe that using the system would enhance their job performance. The results promise to be accurate wilth a least a 97% charice of success in problem solving. Sara will make research recommendation based on the analysis the data obtained through the questionnaires. Purposiveness: Rigor: .... E Testability:
