They do most of the day-to-day work. Their contract allows them to work from home one week each month. ▸ Alex, support staff. Keeps backup copies of documentation, organizes files, prints and photocopies... Option B: Logistics and distribution company. Its activity is focused on B2B distribution and delivery of products of all kinds. ▸ William and Brenda drive and physically deliver the products. They must mark each order they deliver on a company app and are in constant contact with Norman electronically. ▸ Daisy, sales representative. She visits potential clients to win contracts. She also takes care of public relations, going to professional congresses to find interesting opportunities. Option C: Design your own company You can opt for a real company or make one up, following the examples above. Once you have chosen the company, you should make a purchase proposal, establishing which devices you think each employee needs according to their functions and work (computer, smartphone, barcode reader, printer, scanner...) and offering a specific model and a specific store where you would buy it, justifying why you have chosen that model with those features and that specific store (for example, because it is the one that offers a lower cost adding price and shipping costs, or because it offers an extended warranty). Remember that it is important that you do a previous documentation work and that you rely on the sources you find to explain why you have chosen a device with those features. The student chooses efficient suppliers for the devices (reliable, appropriately priced and that ship or have stores in their area of residence). • The purchase proposal is expressed clearly, with correct language, following the appropriate standards and with a professional presentation. - Workers: Norman, the manager. He organizes the distribution routes, keeps the company's accounts, takes care of material purchases, etc.
