Chloe Beu Oct 7 12:11pm One principle I choose was from chapter one, of "Twelve Ways to Win People to Your Way of Thinking", rule number one being "The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it". The other principle is, rule number two, "Show respect for other man's opinions. Never tell a man he is wrong". 1) I found that these principles will increase the chance of getting people to think in the way that you think because there is good communication within two people. If there is arguing then there will be no common ground and if you tell someone that they are wrong, then they will believe you are wrong. With these principles it is likely that two will come to an agreement. 2) From these principles, I will apply the ideas that arguments should be avoided. From these principles, I believe and will apply these ideas to my leadership development, that they are telling people to communicate properly and understand one another, rather than arguing and telling them they are wrong for disagreeing.
