Richardson and her abuser Came up with a plan to remove her family from the equation. In the middle of the night, the abuser arrived at the house and went downstairs where he murdered Richardson’s mother and father. He then came back up the stairs and pushed the 12-year-old to finish the job. Richardson went upstairs with her abuser and stabbed her 8-year-old brother in the chest over-and-over again. When it was done, the two fled 100 miles away but were apprehended and put on trial.
While awaiting trial, Richardson and her abuser traded letters back-and-forth which showed no remorse for their victims or crimes. Jasmine was sentenced to a long stint in a mental institution, while her abuser continued to serve 3 concurrent life sentences in prison…where he belongs.
