Expert Solution
Step 1 Introduction

Protestantism and Catholicism are two different forms of Christianity. Protestantism emerged in the medieval period, as a reaction or opposition to Catholicism and its practices. Protestantism began in the 16th century under the leadership of Martin Luther. He wrote a document through which he exposed some illegal or unethical practices of the Catholic church such as the sale of indulgences. Both these forms also have differences in their views of different social institutions and beliefs.
