A type of graph that is used for quantitative research for an assay is known as the Standard curve which is also known as a calibration curve. It is quantified as based on the measurements of multiple samples for that are known concentrations of the same properties to determine the unknown samples by interpolation on the graph. Thus the samples that are known concentrations for the same properties are known as standards and the graph is known as the standard curve.
