The two biggest strengths of Athenian are Democracy and its Military. Athens is also remembered as the first democracy in world history where people have voting rights. An only adult male Athenian citizen who have military training had the right to vote. Children, women, slaves, and foreigners don't have the right to vote in Assembly. They follow the Direct Democracy system to run the Government and the city. Three main characteristics of Athenian Democracy are equal political rights, freedom of speech, and the opportunity to participate directly in the political arena, which makes them more democratic and valuable. Polytheistic was the religion of Ancient Athens Peoples, which means that they believed in multiple deities. On the highest part of the Acropolis, they built a marble Parthenon, a temple for their gods. Athens has the biggest and most well-trained military of its time. With the help of its military power, it captured so many territories and becomes a large empire.
