Overview Milestone Two consists of your research results and the methodologies you used to collect and analyze your data. Prompt Your research results should include any charts, maps, or graphs that depict the research you have completed. You must also provide a written summary of results. In your summary, consider the following questions: What does your research show? Consider how you will apply the research findings to your project’s conclusion. What patterns in the data and data analysis do you see? The methodologies section of Milestone Two should describe the tools, techniques, and data that you used to address your hypothesis. Include a detailed explanation of your research process. Summarize your research methods for the capstone project and keep the following questions in mind: How did you collect and analyze the data? Did you conduct a statistical analysis, a spatial analysis, or a survey? Did you collect any primary data? If so, what was your source? What types of data sources did you use to collect secondary data? You will also need to evaluate the reliability of the sources that you used for your research. What techniques and tools did you use that speak to the reliability and validity of your measurements?
How did you operationalize or measure the main concepts or variables that you are studying? If applicable, describe the cases under study and justify why you selected them. Submit your research results and discuss the tools, techniques, and data that you used during your research process. What to Submit Your research results and methodologies should be submitted as a 2- to 3- page Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and at least three sources cited in APA format.
