Research Question What are the benefits of social workers in the correctional system? Methodological Approach I am choosing to do a qualitative study. Using qualitative methods enables an in-depth investigation of the feelings and experiences of those engaged in these circumstances. Through the examination of the lived experiences and personal narratives of those impacted, qualitative research offers a comprehensive understanding of the issue and an opportunity for the affected people's voices to be heard (Yegidis et al., 2018). Identify and justify which method of measurement and data collection best fits your research question and methodological approach: The most effective data collection approach for my population is interviews including in-person interviews, and telephone interviews. Interviews are essential to almost all qualitative research (Yegidis et al., 2018). Since individuals are likely to have different experiences, no two interviews will be the same.
