If you met with the authors think of a question you would ask them related to the stu dy (2 sentences) My question to the author would have to ask them, why they chose to use data that was from 1991 and not data that was created in a recent time? Article #2 The impact of the Deinstitutionalization policies on Homelessness. APA Formatted Reference Krigner, H. (2023). The Impact of the Deinstitutionalization Policies on Homelessness. Summary (3-4 sentences) In this article, it talks about homelessness being an issue that is growing in America. Over 560,000 individuals were either distributed throughout shelters, or living on the streets, unsheltered. The number has increased in recent years. Homelessness has become such a concern that those in the federal government are concerned. The Covid-19 Pandemic could have altered the numbers of the counting in 2021. Key Study Results (4-5 sentences) Specialists have pointed out that the growth of homelessness is because of the deinstitutionalized movement. Mental health patients were left to their families to take care of them. About thirty percent
of the homeless population have a mental illness. Being left with a mental illness and on the street could lead to crime or a government help dependance. This is because there is a high cost to having to take care of a mental illness patient in jails or anywhere else. Wouldn’t it have changed afterwords? Article #3 A QUALITATIVE STUDY: THE IMPACT OF HOMELESSNESS CRIMINALIZATION ON UNHOUSED INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN LOS ANGELES APA Formatted Reference Chopin, G.
