Discuss how you would use the data collected by your colleague to guide the next step in the planned change process or to inform future work with clients. Alyssa, The tool you utilized is the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), which is a great tool. This tool is reliable in measuring resilience, which provides a strong foundation when using this tool in research. The age-appropriate format allows tailored interventions to be used at each stage of development. The CD-RISC is also easy to use and requires minimal time to assess clients (Smith-Osbourne & Bolton, 2013). The CD-RISC can guide the next steps in the change process and inform future work with clients by utilizing the assessment to monitor progress over time and the effectiveness of interventions. The tool provides flexibility and the ability to adapt the interventions to fit the client's needs. The tool could also provide professional development to ensure that the social workers in the agency are using the interventions tailored to the client's needs. Ongoing education to promote the client's needs is vital in social work (NASW, 2021). References National Association of Social Workers . Code of ethics of the National Association of Social Workers.
