ITL 604 Reflection The field experience portion of this course focused on getting to your students to support all students through research, reflection, and collaboration. Now, take a moment to reflect on this process and how it benefits students. Use your Collaborative Meeting notes as you reflect. You will submit this assignment in Week 3, Assignment 3C. Complete this reflection template with your partner but each of you will submit your own copy. How did the information in the SimSchool Observation report help you better understand your students, the class, or school context? It was very helpful for me as I am currently doing a long-term substitute position. So that I since I am having to come up with the assignments based on the curriculum and many of my students are on 504 and IEP plans What did you learn from the Collaborativ e Meeting process (after discussing your experiences using SimSchool)? I was not given any information about the collaboration, nor was I assigned a partner. So I can’t address that.
How would you use the Collaborativ e Meeting process when you become a credentiale d educator? I will definitely lean on collaborative meetings. I am in a situation know where I reach out to my follow teachers for assistance now. So I will continue to do so. How did the collaboratio n make you feel? We have meetings in my department ( history/social studies) and since I am new to the school, I need the collaboration in order to succeed in my role. What do you want to know more about (in SimSchool, your role as a gen. ed. How to work with students who are on 504 and IEP plans. Again, I am new to this and I will be working with them in the future so I need the experience. Again, I am transition into a completely new role for myself as a teacher. So any of the experience I can get is helpful for me.
Teacher, or your role as a Special Ed. Teacher)?
