Quantitative Methodology: It is also known as empirical-analytical research, and it focuses on a specific study goal with related research questions and operational definitions for the variables to be assessed. The hypotheses tested and described are founded on deductive reasoning and existing ideas in this form of inquiry. My study paper is quantitative. It aims to address "what questions" by generalizing a specific research idea. Quantitative research also collects data from Users via online surveys, polls, and questionnaires. The results can be numerically represented, and then tweaks or revisions can be made based on the findings. . Impact of Social Media in our Society Powerful knowledge We all know this saying, but few realize how empowering social media has been. Anyone online can benefit from an unlimited flow of information via social media. In today's society, social media has undeniably influenced our culture, business, and overall worldview. Individuals can now use social media to connect, relate, and mobilize for a cause. Social media has reduced communication boundaries and developed decentralized communication channels, allowing everyone to participate democratically and have a voice. This platform allows for spontaneous, formal, informal, scholarly, and nonscholarly compositions. It will enable common interest groups like students to collaborate on projects outside of class, education, the economy, politics, race, health, relationships, etc. Although I will be concentrating on the negative impact of social media, it is essential to note numerous beneficial aspects of using it. We should also acknowledge the benefits of social media. Groups can be formed via social media. Students utilize social media to cooperate on academic and non-academic projects. Using Facebook, kids can collaborate on schoolwork. Weblogs can educate writing and creativity. Free. Companies utilize social media to market their brands, features, and products. Advertising is the primary source of revenue for social media. Despite these advantages, social media has negative social consequences. This article will look at social media and mental health, as well as how criminals use it. Many researchers have done studies in multiple environments that clearly show the harmful influence of social media in three key categories. A false impression of internet "connections" and shallow relationships leads to emotional and psychological issues
