STRATEGIES Mentoring programs are a great way to help new employees adjust to their new environment. A mentor can help a new employee adjust to their new job and learn the organization's culture and conventions. New employees should attend an orientation session to learn more about the company's culture. They may become acquainted with the company's standards and procedures, make new contacts, and gain an understanding of their new responsibilities.
STRATEGIES CONT: Good education and training program may help new workers in the criminal justice system become familiar with the regulations and procedures they must follow ( Justice & Meares, 2021). Furthermore, training may assist people in acquiring the specific skills required for success in their new career. Organizing social events is an excellent way for new employees to connect with their colleagues and break the ice. It's a great way to break the ice and make people feel at ease.

STRATEGIES CONT: Communication channels must be open in any criminal justice organization. New hires are more likely to feel valued and at ease if they think they have immediate access to management. It may also aid in the establishment of rapport and communication between new and senior staff members. Recognition is essential in many jobs, but it is especially important in the criminal justice system. Recognizing new workers' successes publicly may boost their morale and increase their sense of belonging to the business.
