When determining what is beneficial to patients and others, qualitative methods are applied. I think that observational or participant-based observation and in-depth methods of interviewing would be the most appropriate qualitative approaches to utilize at each level of the planning and assessment cycle. This is since the participant observation approach is often suitable when gathering information on normally occurring activities in their usual situations. The observation methos would be the best course of action at each level of the planning and assessing cycle since it provides us with an overview of the project's overall context. We may learn a lot about the cultures of various groups of people through participant observation, including their beliefs, language, and perspectives. This knowledge is then used to the planning and assessment cycle. We frequently evaluate a certain culture by looking at what its members do daily. On the other hand, in-depth interviews also provide an emic interpretation of the events taking place in various communities. It would be possible to clearly comprehend the demands of that community by speaking with various members of it and conducting interviews with them. This procedure is crucial because it will make it simple to create programs and activities that are appropriate for that culture using the emic data. As a result, I think a researcher might gather baseline data from participant observations and in-depth interviews, which they could then employ at each point of the planning and assessment cycle.
