Benchmark—Gospel Essentials
As a christian, you will always have and be faced with topics and even ideas that are con-
stantly being debated and discussed. In life, people will have different beliefs about how other peo-
ple should live their life even how to be what they think a true christian should be. Regardless, no matter what anyone says God had forgiven every person because he had sacrificed his son Jesus for us. As well, as you remember the elements of Christian worldview are the understanding of human-
ity, restoration and the redemption of humans. But no matter if you aren’t a believer or you are, there is a chance for everyone to experience the love of God. Gospel Essentials Beliefs
Nature of God
Who is God really?
He is the King of Kings, He’s the almighty, Sovereign Lord. He is way greater and bigger than any of us can ever imagine. God is three in one: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In Genesis 1:1, it said “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (
Genesis 1:1)
. The Lord our God exhibits other characteristics/attributes such as compassionate, Gentleness, faithfulness, holiness, good-
ness and most importantly love. (Bible Gateway New Living Translation, 2023). These characteristics of God are so very important to the Christian worldview, because of God being all that is knowing helps us to develop a strong permanent path to a righteous life. In addition, God consists of three beings, that make up the Holy Trinity, which are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Grand Canyon Univer-
sity, 2020a, The Nature of God: Sovereign Creator. Section, para. 3).
Nature of Humanity
In Genesis 2, it says “
It is not good for a man to be alone. I will make a helper suite for him.” (Genesis 2:18). God created man so it could then start the existence of a powerful force of his own creation, which was meant to demonstrate the image of God. He had given us free will to make our own choices, He had given Adam life through His breath, and at that, we could not keep the serpent from deceiving them into temptation of eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17). In nature of humanity, we are made by God in the like-
ness of Him but, humanity are sinful beings due to their nature because they have the freewill to choose what path of right and wrong they want to go.

Nature of Jesus In the christian world, according to Tuggy, the Bible is mainly focused on the triune God which means one essence. Jesus is the son of God as well as he is the second part of the Holy Trinity, which makes
up who our Lord as they are the three in one. (Tuggy, 2020). Not only did He have the ability to heal people instantly, he was also capable to cast out demons, forgive sins, control the natural world and overcome the power of death which resulted in his incredible resurrection. Jesus was pure and completely clean of any sin,
righteous, holy and not only fully man but also fully God, which allowed Him to atone for the sins of hu-
manity and bring the people out of damnation. (Grand Canyon University, 2020b, Why Did God Become Man? Incarnation, Atonement, and Resurrection, para. 7.) His main purpose was to bring salvation to hu-
manity through his crucifixion and resurrection and help people have a relationship with our heavenly fa-
ther.
He was placed on this earth to teach the word of God to everyone so that they may know about Him. He was considered a God to humans because of the miracles he had performed in his life time. “The name Jesus means “God saves,” which gives a glimpse into his saving mission” (Grand Canyon University, 2020).
Restoration
The spiritual definition of restoration is, rebuilding those that are weak in their spiritual life. Accord-
ing to the Christian worldview, the solution to human problems is restoration of the relationship of humanity
with God through his son Jesus Christ.
This restoration is made possible through God's grace, which is his unmerited favor and love towards humanity in the universe.
With the Christian worldview, the solution to human problems relies with the redemption through Gods son Jesus Christ. Christians believe that all the human problems we have stem from sin, which was caused by Adam and eves garden mistake, caused sepa-
ration of humanity from God.
The solution, therefore, is to make up with God through faith in his son Jesus Christ, who had died for the sins of humanity. The only solution to human problems is keeping God at the center of your life. In did God plan the fall? Shuster said, “ He belongs in the center. Where God merely an

outer boundary, we would be left with an inner boundlessness an emptiness at the heart of the things left which ia without any true organizing center for our lives” (Shuster, 2013). Christian Foundations
Because the gospel essentials address the characteristics of God, Jesus, humanity, and what restoration
should look like in the eyes of a Christian, these concepts are most definitely vital to the Christian world-
view.
They give us with an understanding of our purpose and worth, a relationship with God, and an assur-
ance of our salvation. The restoration at the view of the gospel essentials from the view of Christians, which
is that of a person who has gained restoration from being part of God’s amazing family. (Greever, 2020b,
conclusion, para. 2). We as humans would not survive or even exist without God as everything was created
in his amazing image.
Anyone who has a desire to become a Christian must be willing to accept the gospel
essentials, because they describe God who Christians must submit over their lives to.
Analysis of the Implications of the Christian Worldview
For the Christian worldview, it is defined as “the core ideas and beliefs of Christians and there are an
estimated 2.2 billion Christians worldwide” (Pritchard, 2020)
. The Christian worldview has multiple bene-
fits that relate to dignity and value.
“The value and dignity of human life is derived from God the creator and is rooted in the face that all humans have been created in God’s image” (The value and Dignity of Hu-
man Life”, n.d).
A very notable benefit in the worldview of Christians, is that it gives us confidence and hope for our future. In this world all of the struggles and challenges that we as Christians face, our world-
view “helps us to stabilize life, serving as an anchor of a link to Gods faithfulness and steadfastness”.(Union
University, n.d) The worldviews of Christians gives us a reminder that they are the only religion to believe in salvation. But for someone who is let’s say an atheist, life means that we are born and then we die. Being a christian, it influences our way of thinking and our behavior because our life has a purpose, even though no one really knows what that purpose is. We need to put our trust in God in order to see what the purpose truly is. As someone who is just starting out as a Christian and learning about christianity it can be a little bit confusing. In Genesis 2 as well as 3 it talks about God creating Adam and Eve in his image and punishes
the humanity for breaking his given rules. But for a new Christian this can be confusing as He is portrayed as loving and even justice but then he goes and punishes.
Conclusion
5
If you decided to bring up Christian worldview, there would be so many opinions about from every-
one. There will even be people in life who view the religion to be confusing especially if they do not fully understand the worldview and even the sub topics. The spoken sub-topics within Christianity are God’s na-
ture, Humanity, nature of Jesus, restoration amongst others. No matter what region you chose to have, you’ll
need to be aware that there is truth to Christianity and to God. God is the Lord of Lords and the creator of everything.
