Religious mapping
Representing religious belief is difficult. Religions don’t have hard boundaries in the landscape and different religious populations are often heavily intermixed. In this assignment you are going to compare some religious maps for their ability to present the complex reality of the religious landscape.

I chose this map because the colors a more distinct & organized on this map.

Click on Import KML file from computer and add the first file (Philippines Christian) you downloaded. Once it
loads, click save. Now add the second file (Philippines Muslim).
How would you describe the religious landscape of the Philippines?
The religious landscape of the Philippines is predominantly Christian with Muslim being in the minority Does having the mapping data help you understand the complexity?
The mapping data does help me understand the complexity. Now add Sri Lanka Buddhist (and save) and Sri Lanka Hindu (and save).
How would you describe the religious landscape of the Sri Lanka?
Hindu seems to be predominant in the north while Sri Lanka is predominant in the south. Does having the mapping data help you understand the complexity?
