A proper view of spiritual Disciplines. Bryan Nipp Theology – Grand Canyon University MIN-320 – Christian Character Formation August 7, 2023
As Paul declared to the Philippians, "These things you have learned and gotten and heard and found in me practice these things, and the God of harmony will be with you" (Philippians 4:9). Spiritual disciplines teach are instructed in scriptural written by training, as a visual illustration. Given that we are rescued by the Holy Spirit, God desires us to be holy as he is holy. This comes through blessing, which sets us apart from everyone else on earth (Aaron, 2012). We cannot acquire this because our training does not follow a model, but in the context of the biblical text, it was not necessary to say. The issue of exemplary nature, accumulating merit, etc. is not subject to strict regulations. Nobody should practice profound commands if they do not have to since doing so is a sign of cunning. The problem of resources will not need to be resolved until after you decide to submit to Jesus. We require daily lectures on the good news of Christ because it has such a profound impact on our lives. According to Vincent (2008), "lecturing the gospel to myself consistently has had all the more of an effect in my life than whatever other control that I have at any point drilled" (Vincent, 2008, p. 6). Because they are in the Word of God, Christians are prevented from being completely the same as the rest of the world. Reading and meditating on the Bible are necessary to help us understand how important that particular manifestation of God is. It benefits us to live a fruitful life and to prosper in all we undertake (Jos 1:8). The Lord our God loved us so much that he gave his only Son, in order for us to be saved but not perish (John 3:16). Christians should not consider complex rituals as a means of attaining beauty because Jesus Christ has already done the task perfectly. The many types of effortlessness that God has for us can shape our character.
God is always ready to shower us with his beauty, but it also requires effort on our part. We need to be in the appropriate kind of position to receive his effortlessness. "Methods for beauty" are otherworldly positions to obtain God's simplicity. Local region and apprenticeship are two factors that are typically overlooked while discussing profound restrictions. God wants us to get a heart attack and associate with others in our neighborhood. Jesus gives the Christian permission to travel a path of extraterrestrial arrangement or blessing, allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to shape and aid in the formation of their character. The various forms of grace inspire people to engage in discipleship.
