Biblical Integration Paper Assignment 2
One of the issues at Northdale Middle School in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, is the lack of professional growth opportunities for teachers and staff. By promoting positive interactions, boosting students' self-esteem, and encouraging real interest in their studies, the school hopes to maximize student learning. One of the most crucial aspects of instructing students in primary and
secondary education is having a solid understanding of how to use modern technology to make learning exciting and engaging. Northdale Middle School's principal and deputy principal are in charge of supervising and scheduling instructors and teacher assistants. Teachers at Northdale Middle School are frustrated by the principal's inability to accommodate technological advancement and instructional development. Few of the teachers are digital natives who prefer using technology to instruct students in various methodologies that make learning motivating and
fascinating, whereas the majority of the teachers are digital immigrants who have extensive experience as elder teachers.
A number of issues at Northdale Middle School were found to be the root of the problem outside of the classroom. Technology has advanced significantly in many areas over the last few decades, including portable laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic devices. Although technologies have never been as sophisticated as they are now, and not everyone has had the opportunity to grow up with the latest technology as it became widely available, our society has now been divided into two groups, known as Digital Natives and Digital Immigrants,
as a result of the rapid change and evolution of technology that is taking place right in front of our eyes.
Despite considerable political clout, the school leadership team found it difficult to promote technology use and smooth the transition by emphasizing its significance. At Northdale Middle School, a lack of teacher professional development contributed to a lack of technology

adoption. Teachers struggle to understand new technologies because they lack the necessary training and technical know-how. Teachers who are opposed to using technology in the classroom typically do so because they lack the skills and knowledge required to implement new technologies. One of the most significant barriers to the use of technology in the classroom is the
lack of personalization through differentiated teaching.

Poor teacher preparation and technology integration at Northdale Middle School are also indicators that top management is not attending to the basic needs of the staff, teachers, and other
employees, that professional teachers are not being prepared, and that the school's staff is not receiving the necessary support. The executive management should consist of significant individuals who actively support the demands of all organization stakeholders. Another trait required of a leader is the ability to solve problems and make sound decisions. It is essential to behave according to the principles that Jesus supported. As a result, management at Northdale Middle School must demonstrate a problem-solving approach that seeks God's knowledge and guidance. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given unto you” (New International Version, 1978/2011, James 1:5). When leaders pursue God's guidance, they depend on Him to provide them with the knowledge and strategies they need to make decisions and solve problems.
A leader must be self-aware and aware of his or her political effect when dealing with problems at Northdale Middle School. The institutional framework at Northdale Middle School may need to alter in order for internal communication to improve. When a leader considers the necessary changes, they should pray for guidance and be aware that many people will struggle as
a result of the change. The need to form coalitions and alliances with other strong establishment

members in order to gain support for the new institutional framework may present some difficulties. By praying and obeying God's instructions, Jesus overcame his own internal conflicts and issues. “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (New International Version, 1978/2011, 1 Corinthians 10:13).
This is a strong warning that the necessary institutional change will cause some leaders to
question their abilities, as well as some staff members and educators to be concerned about the new changes. For example, the new institutional framework may require professors to report to the designated directors rather than the institution chairman. Many members of the teachers and staff have long collaborated with the head of their respective school. They may originally experience conflicts, confusion, or anger if their reporting structure changes as a result of the new organizational shift. However, God's word clearly states that as we obey his rules, challenges, conflict, and change help us grow stronger and wiser.
When we look at the situation at Northdale Middle School from a biblical perspective, we
acknowledge that God's plan for the change needs to be implemented with discernment and kindness. Employees and teachers reported feeling unsatisfied and uncertain about their jobs, which they blamed on a breakdown in organizational communications caused by the current institutional structure. God knows everything about everyone's wants and requirements. It could be argued that God's reaction to humanity's opinion is the impetus for changing the institutional structure for this reason. Leaders must remain tuned in to God's directives if they are to be effective servants.
