Running Head: 1-2 JOURNAL 2 The test that I chose to take was the Holland Personality Test. This is the first that I heard about this test, so it caught my attention. It focuses on career and vocational choice, so I was curious to see my results. The questions provided were very straightforward, organized, and unpredictable because you didn’t know what the next one was going to ask about until you got to it. It is interesting to see how the categories were separated. I opted to do the extra 26 questions, and things were smooth for those as well. To me, none of the questions seemed to be biased. After completing this test, my results stated that my highest score was for social occupational interest. This is semi-what I expected, but not fully. Job fields that this test determined I would be interested in are registered nurse, computer science teacher, library science teacher, and pharmacist. I would probably be interested in 2 out of the 4 results: registered nurse and pharmacist. I enjoyed this experience even if the test didn’t accurately assess my personality 100 percent correctly and the jobs I would be interested in.
