PSY 211 Module One Milestone Template In the Module One Milestone Guidelines and Rubric, review the Overview and Prompt sections. Then answer each of the following questions with a minimum of 3 to 5 sentences. Support your answers with credible sources when appropriate. Complete this template by replacing the bracketed text with the relevant information.  Compare the psychological factors that have influenced both April’s and Judi’s development. o Consider their cognitive and affective factors in your response. There was many psychological factors that influenced both Judi’s and April’s development. Judi’s childhood struggles with her abusive parent, and depressed mother, has created an unsafe, and very negative environment for her. While April on the other hand grew up in a home full of love, and support.  Compare the social factors that have influenced both April’s and Judi’s development. o Consider their relational and environmental factors in your response. Childern carry on the emotional struggles of childhood on throughout life. This is shown with both Judi, and Apirl. Judi had a dysfunctional relationship with her parents, and this is prone to her abusive relationships with her significant others. April had a great relationship with her parents, and it shows with her relationship with her significant other.  Explain whether nature or nurture had a more significant role in April’s and Judi’s development. Support your answers with examples from the scenario. o Consider using biological, psychological, and social factors in your response. I would say nurture, as April, and Judi were both seperrated at birth and it makes it hard to rule in nature over nurture. Judi was raised in a chaotic home, with abusive parent, and struggles with the feeling of being alone within her family. On the other hand april grew up in a loving home from both her parents, in which both supported her. Both of these childern who grew up with different homes demonstrated the outcome of these into their childern.  Explain why it is important to consider nature and nurture in combination throughout the life span when evaluating an individual’s well-being. Both nature and nurture form who we are, and I believe they also have a play on our life outcome. Although usually separated, nature and nurture work together in human development. The combination of both, our genetic and environmental influences are necessary in understanding the origin of our personality, character and behaviour. 1
