THE APPLICATION OF POSITIVE PSHYCHOLOGY IN MY LIFE 7 Introduction The present work was done to implement positive psychology in our lives. Its objective is to show us how gratitude is a transformative attitude towards our approach to human life. It is the feeling of appreciation and gratitude towards the good things in life, no matter how small or big they are. Gratitude is not just a feeling but an action that can be practiced every day. It is a powerful tool that can improve our physical and mental well-being, strengthen our relationships, and increase our overall happiness. We learn that there are numerous benefits to practicing gratitude daily. It can improve our physical and mental health, increase happiness and life satisfaction, and strengthen our relationships. It also focuses on There are many ways to practice gratitude, but the key is to make it a daily habit. Some ways to practice gratitude include keeping a gratitude journal, expressing gratitude to others, practicing mindfulness, and focusing on the positive things in life Gary, 2023). It is important to find the method that works best for us and make it part of our daily routine.
THE APPLICATION OF POSITIVE PSHYCHOLOGY IN MY LIFE 7 Positive psychology consists of the study of people's good experiences and traits. That is, it studies the strengths, virtues, motivations, and capabilities of human beings. And how these characteristics help improve lifestyle and increase personal development. Positive psychology has many important aspects such as gratitude. We always have something to be grateful for. Practicing gratitude is one of the things that brings the most well-being (Mirzaei et al., 2022). The fact of saying thank you, apart from being something we do or should do every day, causes a series of personal benefits that make this simple fact of being grateful a great recipe to increase our well-being. Gratitude connects with kindness, beauty, hope, and humor to reduce distress. The ability to be grateful allows us to identify the positive aspects that have happened to us in our lives Gary, 2023). Another aspect that we can mention is Consciousness, which is what allows us to realize what surrounds us. Therefore, when we talk about consciousness we are referring to: The ability to know our environment and locate ourselves in it, that is, lucidity. The ability to reflect on reality and assume a position regarding it. The ability to judge our actions from a moral perspective, good or bad. Gratitude December 4/2023

THE APPLICATION OF POSITIVE PSHYCHOLOGY IN MY LIFE 7 One of the things I am grateful for is my sense of humor as this shows me that having a positive attitude will help me persevere. When times are tough, it is easy to get discouraged and give up. But if I can maintain a positive attitude, I will be more likely to get through the tough times and come out successful on the other side. A positive attitude attracts people to me. A positive attitude helps me stay motivated Although many times it is easy to lose motivation when things are not going well. But if I can stay positive, I will be more likely to be able to get through even when things get tough. A positive attitude will make me happier. Another thing for which I feel incredibly happy is my family, especially my son, who is the one who gives me the motivation to move forward and carry out each project that I set out to do. Finally, something of utmost importance is my health, without which I would not be able to complete each daily task. Meaning: December 15 Today at work I felt frustrated when explaining to a patient where the medical tests should be performed because I explained it many times and he did not understand me. Rethinking: During the explanation I decided to take a little more time than usual and decided to
THE APPLICATION OF POSITIVE PSHYCHOLOGY IN MY LIFE 7 print more information that would be more helpful for the patient to schedule the appointment and complete the test that was ordered. December 16 After a stressful situation and doing the exercise, I was able to see my situation more clearly and I was able to resolve the reason I felt stressed. I could hear my mother's advice. I could smell and enjoy the incense that I lit. Later I realized that in any stressful situation the best thing to do is take some time to reflect; thinking with a hot head is never an innovative idea. After 14 days (about 2 weeks) the results were no different. Incredibly happy. Being happy has more benefits than just feeling good. I learned that when we are not grateful for what we are or have, we live frustrated, angry, and low in spirit; but when we are enthusiastically receive what we are and what we want to be, we enjoy the present without conditions and resolve difficulties more easily. This, accompanied by a good self-esteem, in which I can understand my value, my virtues and my imperfection, will allow me to feel pleased with my life, regardless of whether everything in it is not good, thus helping me so that my happiness does not depend on one path. perfect (which does not exist). During this I learned with mindfulness we learn to tolerate the impulse to follow behaviors that do not serve us. We cultivate a space between Contribute thought and action, and with practice, little by little, we increase our ability to be in this space and in this moment. Reacting in a less compulsive way, considering the options
THE APPLICATION OF POSITIVE PSHYCHOLOGY IN MY LIFE 7 available to us, in this way we will be able to make decisions freely and appropriate to each situation, Finally, taking a few minutes each day to record the small and massive things to be grateful for helps us value and notice more easily the good things that life offers us. Writing down the reasons you must be grateful for gives strength and power to our positive thoughts and allows us to occupy our minds with positivity instead of complaints and negative thoughts. I was still writing a journal dedicated to gratitude. Conclusion I learned that if I practice meditation, combined with gratitude, it can have positive effects on my life. Yes, I spend time thinking about how fortunate I am to be alive, about the love that the people in my immediate environment give me, about everything that makes me feel happy and about the different opportunities that are offered to me every day. I can feel completely fulfilled too. Making gratitude an important part of my daily life will help me feel much better about myself, it will transform my energy and everything I can create through it, and it will improve every aspect of my life. As we can see in my own gratitude inventory, I was able to learn to become aware of and give thanks for a lot of things, big and small. This greater awareness allows us to enjoy them more daily, and that makes us feel more grateful as it is a whole group of virtues.
