Adolescents who are bullied due to their weight often face significant emotional distress and may experience a decline in their mental health. As a graduate student, understanding the gravity of this issue is crucial to developing effective intervention strategies. Crisis intervention with these adolescents should focus on providing emotional support, promoting resilience, and empowering them to cope with the psychological challenges associated with bullying.
