2 Voters fret Trump or Clinton in White House To keep up with what's happening in the globe, I read both current and historical news articles. Today, I saw a CNN app article on the presidential campaign. New York Times polls showed Republican primary voters favored Trump. The survey showed that Trump had the most support among Republican contenders, at 35% (LoBianco, 2015). Before the election, he challenged Ted Cruz and Ben Carson where all candidates competed for the top spot in an unclear race. During the election, he showed his mettle and won, amassing a commanding advantage over his opponents. Clinton defeated Sanders by 20%, confirming her position as her party's frontrunner. Public opinion was split due to the uncertainty of his candidacy led four out of ten respondents to worry about his administration. A small third of the population held similar concerns about a Clinton presidency, indicating relative stability connected with her campaign. Critique Sample Size Discrepancies In this research, 1,053 registered voters were polled where 431 participated in the Republican primary and 384 participated in the Democratic primary (LoBianco, 2015). It's probable that not enough likely primary voters for the Democrats and the Republicans were surveyed. Poll Questions The article did not include poll questions, which further casts doubt on these numbers. Without openness in the survey technique, these conclusions are hard to verify. Hillary Clinton led Bernie Sanders by 20%, which had a major influence on the campaign (LoBianco, 2015). Data collection It was surprising that four in ten respondents expressed reservations about a Trump presidency, given the uncertainties surrounding his campaign. However, just one-third of
3 respondents expressed comparable concerns about the Clinton administration, indicating more trust in her leadership. The article provided a good illustration of research concepts such as surveys to collect data (Cozby & Bates, 2015). Lack of citated information There’s no way to learn more about the poll since there's no link to it in the article. Purposive sampling was used to select primary voters who identified with one of two political parties (Republican or Democrat) as a predetermined requirement for the poll (Cozby & Bates, 2015). Conclusion We rely on research as a regular aspect of our lives and a source of new knowledge. It is crucial that we not blindly believe an article or advertisement, but instead investigate more and make our own opinions based on all the available evidence. This is because there are many counterfeit prophets floating about out there. Investigating the legitimacy and veracity of research is essential for gaining information and understanding.
