POSTPARTUM ANXIETY. 2 Postpartum Anxiety. Kim is displaying symptoms of postpartum depression and anxiety, also known as "baby blues (March of Dimes, 2017) ." This occurs to most ladies, whether it is their initial delivery or if they have had other deliveries before this one. This illness may cause a mother to doubt her capacity to execute her parenting responsibilities to her baby (Loudon et al., 2016) . They begin to question if the infant is feeding properly. Is it getting sufficient nap? Have they reached all of their important deliverables? What about bacteria and viruses? Will I ever be able to sleep afterwards? This can result in an excessive flow of feelings, which can be devastating for the new mum if not addressed. The nursing primary objective is to establish a trustworthy, healing clinical connection with Kim so that she may express her emotions (Hannan, 2016) . She should be persuaded to express herself without fear of being judged. The level of a lady's relationship with her spouse and family at large determines how well she fits into the responsibilities of a new mom, and our job as nursing staff is to try to ease her come back home by recognizing potential challenges among family members and assisting the lady in developing approaches for coping with these concerns before clearance from the hospital facility. The woman's traditional ideologies, beliefs, and traditions, which strongly impact individual's actions through the postpartum time, are one of the aspects of a comprehensive psychosocial evaluation, and there is adequate data to back this hypothesis. Because postpartum therapy takes place in a psychosocial setting, the nurses should first consider the woman's cultural background in order to give optimal assistance for the young mother and child. ( Hannan, 2016) Relaxation, isolation, nutritional restrictions, and mother-honoring rituals are customary in many communities. According to what is written above, Kim's biggest risk factor is sibling rivalries as she has three other kids who will compete for her attention and affection. Another thing to consider is whether or not there is
POSTPARTUM ANXIETY. 3 conflict in her marriage with her spouse, as well as how supporting or unsupportive her spouse is. It also does not appear that she has proper support in the family for the infant, which could be another factor contributing to her anxiety.
