Sanity Check The time and the distance change from mi/hr to m/s In this problem I used the dimensional analysis to change both distances and the time In this problem I started by changing the miles to feet then to meters and then I change hours to seconds So it is 60mi/hr= 26.83m/s 2. Physics-Problem Solving Entries Key Idea Is to convert all of the masses to grams then add al the mass to find the total mass in grams Stock of Data Convert mass of 2 of the rocks to grams since one is already in grams then add them to find the total mass in grams 1kg=1000g 0.001g = 1 mg Solution 0.00345 x 1,000 = 3.45g 195 x 0.001 = 3.45 g 9.60 g + 3.45g + 0.195g = 13.245g Sanity Check In this problem what I did it was converting kg and mg to gram then added all the masses in grams to get the total mass Total: 9.60 g 0.00345kg, and 195 mg= 13.245g
