PLCY 700 DB 4 Reply 2 Hello Kenneth, I enjoyed reading your post. It made some good points and had some great information. I want to know what kinds of interest groups are involved in your public policy problems and what their thoughts are. I'd like to believe that there isn't a single morally upstanding individual or organization on the planet that could possibly be in favor of armistice. Contrasted with the act of saving or rescuing other people. Nevertheless, I believe it is reasonable to argue that history has repeatedly shown that not all those involved are acting with the aim of advancing the greater community or greater good, instead working for the advantage of themselves or the constituency they represent. This is something that has been established time and time again. According to Lowi (2009), interest group liberalism is gaining popularity due to the contributes to the perception that power does not have to be power at all. This perception contributes to the ideology's rising allure. Control does not necessarily have to be controlling, and governance does not necessarily have to be coercive. On the other hand, I am curious as to whether or not similar attitudes continue to apply to the international interest groups that you highlighted in your piece. My own personal interests do not lie in areas of public policy that seek to achieve objectives that entail the engagement of international organizations. Rather, I believe that one of the topics that may be beneficial in subsequent study may be the influence of interest group liberalism on problems pertaining to international policy. I would expect that the things that can be utilized for policy concerns in the United States would not transfer perfectly to policy issues that are dealt with elsewhere. This is due to the fact that there is no such thing as a universally applicable public policy.
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned. To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law” (Romans 5:12-13, NIV, 2011). References Lowi, T. J. (2010).
