Our Five Senses Sight Touch (Sense of Feel) Sight or vision is essential in our everyday lives as it allows us to comprehend and understand what others are saying or asking of us. Without our vision, we would struggle to interpret non-verbal cues or read facial expressions, making it difficult to understand people's intentions or requests. Our ability to see plays a crucial role in effective communication and understanding. While touch is important for experiencing the world around us, we can rely on our vision to gather information about how something might feel. While it enhances our understanding and connection with the environment, touch is not essential for survival and can be compensated for by other senses, making it one we could potentially live without.
Our Five Senses Smell Taste After experiencing the loss of smell due to COVID, I now realize the importance of the sense of smell. It helps us create memories and perceive things in a unique way. The absence of smell highlights its significance in our sensory experiences. On average, human can remember 10,000 scents (Rupini & Nandagopal, 2015). Taste is connected to our brain and can evoke memories. It can also integrate with other senses to create a rich, multi-sensory experience, making it a significant sense that contributes to our perception and enjoyment of food and the world around us. Reference: Rupini, R., & Nandagopal, R. (2015). A Study on the Influence of Senses and the Effectiveness of Sensory Branding. Journal of Psychiatry, 18(2).
Our Five Senses Hearing (Sense of Sound) Sound… The sense of hearing allows us to enjoy the beauty of music, experience the sounds of our environment, and connect with our passions. The thought of losing this sense is unsettling, especially for someone like me who has a deep connection to music and sound. It is an integral part of our identity and enriches our lives in immeasurable ways.

Perception and critical Thinking Once again, Perfection is how we observe something and comprehend the reality of it(Soltani, 2015) and Critical thinking is the process of objectively analyzing and evaluating information, arguments, or situations to make reasoned and informed decisions or judgments. It involves questioning assumptions, considering multiple perspectives, and applying logic and evidence to draw well-reasoned conclusions. Perception refers to the process of interpreting and making sense of sensory information or experiences. involves how we perceive, understand, and interpret the world around us through our senses. Critical thinking, on the other hand, refers to the ability to objectively analyze and evaluate information, arguments, or situations to make reasoned and informed decisions or judgments. It involves questioning assumptions, considering different perspectives, and applying logical reasoning. In societies where there is a high demand for quality education, teachers need to have a strong belief in their own ability to effectively teach. Similarly, perceptions of academic success are closely tied to havin balanced understanding of truth, control, or value, or having a greater emphasis on prevention compare to other orientations. -Perception Vs Critical thinking
