Introduction The church ministry should give attention to the improvement of upcoming leadership. Also, with the proper guidance, the ministry has a greater chance to achieve the Great Commission that Jesus Christ mandated. The Great Commission, as it was told to the disciples by Christ, in the book of Matthew 28: NIV, {19}“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, {20} and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you to the very end of the age." 1 Our obligation as a leader is to lead or support people to have the capability to guide others to a meaningful life for Christ. The movement of leading others to Jesus Christ is discipleship. The book Being Leaders by Malphurs defines a Christian leader as an individual devoted to following Christ. 2 In the book Disciple Making, the authors Earley and Dempsey explain what a Christian leader is. Both authors, Earley and Dempsey, stated, “Christian leadership is the process of guiding people to follow the plans of God for themselves and develop into all they can be for Jesus Christ and His commission.” 3 In structuring a leadership method for the church, they can develop a process to guide people to achieve the Great Commission. The leadership development plan assignment will spotlight the establishment of a plan of development that the church leaders can utilize to help generate spiritually rooted, vigorous, and flourishing disciples within the church environment. The leadership development plan will be divided among parts. The first part will focus on the Theology of Leadership and examine the groundwork text of passages that are the base for the Theology of Leadership. Next, I will examine the viewpoint of Biblical ethics associated with 1 www.biblegateway.com/NIV 2 Aubrey Malphurs, Being Leaders: The Nature of Authentic Christian Leadership . 3 leadership and leaders. Thirdly, the examination will be various methods and patterns of leadership afterward, for this portion of composing a solid church ministry atmosphere that provides individuals and leaders to seek and achieve the commission of developing fruitful disciples. Lastly, this part will describe the method for growing individuals and leaders who benefit the ministerial mission within our church ministry environment. Theology of Leadership The Holy Bible is the base for all Christian Theology of Leadership plans for development. The Bible deals with various subjects, yet it was unrecorded to be a standard on leadership; furthermore, many leadership subjects can be found in passages. According to the book Biblical Theology for the Church: Biblical Leadership , Forest and Roden disagree, "While the Holy Bible is not a leadership assigned text, it surely does enunciate to leadership. Precisely, it verbalizes to the source of leadership, for the sake of god-fearing leadership, and the outcome of poor leadership.” 4 Analyzing passages will help the Christian leader explore the models for Biblical leadership and implement the teachings to progress their belief in leadership. To develop a Theology on Christian leadership, doctrine should originate the leader's goal. In Matthew 28: 19-20, the Great Commission is the duty and intention of the church ministry. Every leader should guide others to integrate the mission Jesus guided the church to accomplish. Earley & Dempsey believe that “It is a shame for people to command their self’s believers of Christ and ignore to carry out the determinative desire and embrace his chief commands. 5 Since the command to bring into the fold the nation by disciple—making was 4 Benjamin Forest & Chet Roden, Biblical Theology for the Church: Biblical Leadership , (Grand Rapids: Kregel Publishing Group, 2018), 292. 5 Ibid, 293.
plainly and often inclined, it must be fulfilled. 6 Therefore, in Acts 8:1 & 4, we recognize both the believers and other apostles following the commands, and we know it was given to everyone.” 7 When we help other people improve in their faith, it should inspire the leaders. Furthermore, leadership should be associated with passion. The authors Earley and Dempsey stated, "Practical, biblical, spiritual developing expands us in three aspects they are: upward, as we have a passion for God; outward, as loving our neighbors as thy self; and inwards, as we have compassion for one another.” 8 In the book of John 13: 34-35, a new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 9 This means everyone will know that we are the Disciples of Christ, especially if we love each other. By this saying, all men (including women) will see that we are HIS disciples/followers if we have compassion for each other. Moreover, Christ stated (John 15:12, NIV), "This is his commandment, for us to love each other, just as Christ loves us all." The study bible we have for John MacArthur clearly states, “Jesus Christ's request respecting love granted a new basic for two common principles: (a) it was sacrificial devotion shaped after his love and (b) it originated from the New Covenant by the converting influence of the Spirit.” 10 As a servant leader, Christ was the image of His disciples. In Matthew's book, the disciples learned from Christ's teaching. The book of Matthew is about the figures of James and John (the brothers) and their mother who inquire of Christ if they are all perhaps seated on his left and right, which is in heaven. Their understanding was they would have an honorable place because they were sitting on the right/left side of Christ on the throne. Nevertheless, in Matthew 6 Earley & Dempsey, 217. 7 Ibid, 218. 8 Ibid, 175. 9 www.biblegateway.com/NIV 10 John MacArthur, The MacArthur Study Bible (Wheaton : Crossway, 2010), 1570.
20: 26-28, Christ acknowledges by saying, “Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. {26} Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, {27} and whoever wants to be first must be your slave {28} just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” 11 The authors of Lead, Like Jesus, advise, “For Disciples of Christ, the leadership of servants is not an opportunity; a servant of leadership is a command. The Servant leadership is to be a breathing assurance of who we all are in Christ, an existence perceptible in how we consider each other and authenticate Christ's love to the world among us.” 12 The passages are imperative to recognizing the divine faith of leadership. Christian leadership must begin with passages that support their leadership ideology. Philosophy of Leadership The passages of the Philosophy of leadership guide many leadership features that can be constructed to model the philosophy of leadership among the leadership development method. Embracing the leadership philosophy will prove that leadership for Christian believers is divinely rooted in vigorous and continuous flourishing. The Great Commission ought to be the groundwork for all leadership. A believer's authority is centered on teaching in the Great Commission. McRaney said it best: One's way of spreading the gospel engages the effectual connection of the vital gospel word with the perspective concerning viewing others spiritually become disciples and imitators of Jesus Christ.” 13 Evangelism is the part in which believers engage. Leaders of Christians should be observant of getting people to become believers and help others to become believers. It is also required that Christian leadership develop into 11 www.biblegateway.com/NIV 12 Ken Blanchard, Phil Hodges, and Phyllis Hendry, Lead Like Jesus Revisited , (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 2016), 13. 13 Will McRaney, The Art of Personal Evangelism , (Nashville: B&H Publishing Group, 2013), 46.

disciples who are devoted to disciples-making. According to Putnam, Disciple Shift, "A follower is someone who [a] is Christ-like; [b] alternated by Jesus Christ; [c] being devoted to the commission of Jesus Christ.” 14 To be a follower of Christ, one must be a Disciple of Christ. 15 Disciples imitate Christ, centered on developing their connection with Christ by examining his divine authority. 16 The orders are prayer, bible study, and alone time to encourage believers to get to know Christ personally. The leadership of Christians should be modest. Apostle Paul proclaims this in the book of Phil. 2; when Jesus heartened himself by embarking on the character of a human being. Moreover, Christ manifests his obedience in the ministry. Christ was both God and man in a human form. The holy personality of Christ would allow Jesus to achieve and have authority over, which is something the Jewish culture envisioned from the Son of God. Nevertheless, Christ reverses this perception of the Holy One by embarking on the portrayal of a leader who would oblate His life for everyone willing and willing to set their faith/trust in the Messiah. Forest & Roden stated, “Christ is displayed to be God in human form, but as God in human form, he guides not originating at a point of higher power and authority, but from a willingly assumed stance of shortcoming, humility, and accountability. 17 This is just the reverse of what the user might foresee. It appoints a higher stance for those eager to be a leader in their church ministry of today. Therefore, the believers are expected to follow Christ's illustration and guide the church in the direction he did while on earth.” Christ is the ultimate leader for Christians to go behind. Christian leaders should let go of their ego, arrogance, and greed for 14 Jim Putnam, Disciple shift Five Steps That Help Your Church to Make Disciples Who Make Disciples, (Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2013), 42. 15 Ibid. 16 Ibid, 43. 17 Forest & Roden, 294.
authority and cover themselves in lack of pride just as Christ did if they are willing to guide the congregation. The leadership philosophy has to be developed well because it will aid Christian leaders in conquering the objections they may tend to encounter among their Christian guidance. Methods of Leadership When applying leadership, leaders must figure out what method churches endure and what the assumptions of the leader figures are. The authors Earley & Dempsey use the comparison of a human form to give details of the church. It was stated, “In a district church, people need to follow the order for it to be vigorous; everything needs to be on the same page “according to the appropriate functioning of each entity element.” 18 The most essential “inspiration” for the house of God is the standard to which all the roles of the nature of Jesus Christ closely together.” There are quadruple noticeable characteristics for models of a church operating within the modernized churches: history, attractiveness, principles, and mixture. The head wants to choose which model fits best for their church. The typical (historic) church design is a stratified leadership figure where the head leader (pastor) carries the mass of the authority in the church. Earley & Dempsey defined the church's customs: "The image typically has a lead pastor who spearheads how the church and programs are conducted. The majority of the functions of the church take place in the main sanctuary. The ministerial design is simple. The lead pastor understands most of their ministry's leadership, yet other leadership teams often conduct the functions on a few measures. Evangelism is optional, but the leaders are anxious about winning souls for Christ. Captivating churches seldom have a head pastor who acts as the chief; nonetheless, a group of leaders lead the functions of the church. 18 Earley & Dempsey, 220.
The authors Earley & Dempsey dispute, “The role of the pastor put one in the mind of business decision-making, and there may even be a chief pastor guiding the specifics of the church to allow the chief pastor to concentrate on the weekly events. 19 Our senior pastor is exceptionally skillful and appealing to the point many love to hear him teach. The pastor is the type of person other people love to be around. His personality is engaging and fascinating. The pastor and his pastoral teams operate the ministry, and the primary center point is the midweek and Sunday services.” Primitive churches differ from historic and landmark churches because they highlight mini-groupings that cultivate potent connections. Primitive churches meet every Sunday in the early morning, but mini-groupings are the central point of home churches. Early & Dempsey describe, “The organic (home church or simple church) church is a word used to describe a home or simple church. A group of seasoned saints leads the simple church. Its structure of leadership is much more flattering. These are training or small groupings of elders or the leaders of the home church. The House of God is not grouped throughout all age groups of ministries or even goal-oriented ministry. It is coordinated over personification affiliate groupings for living on a mission in the regions.” 20 Finally, the last church model is called the hybrid. Leadership within the hybrid model church is complicated. The hybrid model churches obtain principles from ethics, power, and natural figures. For Sunday worship, preaching is in structure, and the features of services are like the attractional house of God. The mini groupings are the focal point of hybrid model churches. Earley & Dempsey recommended, "A chief pastor often guides the hybrid model churches. The hybrid model church understands the need to make disciples but does disciples- making in other ways. To sum it up, the hybrid church model has taken a mini-grouping structure 19 Ibid. 20 Ibid, 221.

and placed that process above a current historic and attractional church model.” Understanding the distinctiveness of each church model will guide the leaders of Christians to determine which church atmosphere is the most fitting for the benefit of their leadership style. Leadership Culture When having a developed culture, leadership will guide the leaders in guiding Christians to develop a better connection with Christ. Many churches should pay attention to initiating a culture of leadership where people produce and provide other individuals for the church, which can be achievable by having a vision, plan of action, and beliefs in place. At the same time, other single churches may decree their protocol differently, which may be different from the mission of other churches, which should line up with The Great Commission. Malphurs stated, "Clearly, the church's mission is necessary for its church ministry. 21 The church's mission answers the first underlying concerns of the church: What do we need to be doing? And where is the ministry heading?” 22 After the church's mission is put in place, the vision of the church needs to be followed. According to the author Aubrey Malphurs, “Throughout the vision, it must be reiterated, remodeled, and modified to the cultural environment in which the believers’ way of life. Even though the vision may often change, the transformation will transpire only at the brink of the vision, not at its depths. The center of the Great Commission does not diversify, but the characteristics of the vision and the phase given to deliver them will transform.” 23 The principal method to ensure that the theory of the culture is put in order with the Great Commission is by 21 Malphurs, 123. 22 Ibid. 23 Ibid.
setting up moral values that are positioned with the Great Commission. 24 Author Malphurs also stated, “The core ethics interpret who you are and what your recognition is. 25 The core moral ethics are the segments of the church, and they describe why a person does what they do or does not do what they should be doing. The core morals establish the substructure to which the mission ethics and vision statements are modeled and create the ministry core teaching." 26 The mission, vision, and core values will dictate how the ministry aims, and they will help determine a practice within the church that is parallel with The Great Commission, which is the instruction of Christ. Leadership Develop Plan Now that we have established the groundwork of the leadership improvement methods that have been entrenched, we can focus on the implementation that can be used to implement the strategies within our ministry. The model for our ministry that we will use and continue to use for my leadership method would be the hybrid model. My current church uses the hybrid model as a ministry method. At their simplest, hybrid worship services involve recording and posting or livestreaming a worship service to an online platform. 27 A hybrid church setup can also include additional services like engaging attendees through social media, conducting small group meetings online, or doing live events on social media. 28 The hybrid church model is a blend of traditional and attractional church ministry. Our ministry overseer is our high/chief pastor, who oversees the pastoral and leadership teams. My husband and I are the founders and 24 Ibid, 125. 25 Ibid. 26 Ibid. 27 https://illuminated-integration.com 28 https://illuminated-integration.com
leaders of our ministry. Our Sunday morning is usually when the ministry adjusts its aim; nonetheless, we fully motivate church involvement within our ministry. We fully trust that believers are Christ's Disciples, not just congregation members. My leadership development plan's primary focus will be to guide individuals into connecting with Christ by responding to the call of instruction from Christ or The Great Commission. To form a ministry with influential leaders devoted to reproducing disciples-making, I will continue to guide other individuals to begin a mission, vision, and core values that align with our ministry, according to the Great Commission. Our leadership team will continue administering training for upcoming ministry leaders that prepare others to continue disciples-making. One of our many reasons for training is for us all to stay focused and continue to develop disciples to help equip them with their connection with Christ. As the Body of Christ, we must continue to give attention to uplifting and strengthening one another for the Body of Christ. Earley and Dempsey stated, “God’s plan for families is about equipping the children to develop and become beneficial citizens fully. This is the same with the designs of God for our church. We are children of God, meaning we should be inspired, prepared, and qualified to fully develop and become extremely acting as disciples of the kingdom. The leaders are eager to equip a flourishing structure. The method to equip a flourishing body is to blossom strong people.” 29 Christian leaders registered in such programs will be suggested for the mission, vision, and core values of the ministry so that they can position their ministry to the plans of the temple. In addition, Christian leaders will be instructed on the Theology of leadership to recognize the above. They will be educated on how to grow their leadership ideology fixed on the divine leadership doctrine. 29 Earley & Dempsey, 225.

The next target of the training program will be to educate each leader to have the necessary knowledge needed to be exceptional leaders of Christians. Each one of the leaders will be appointed two primary duties. In task one, each leader will be equipped to assist the people in developing and working on their divine gifts within the ministry. Both the authors Earley and Dempsey dispute that “God anticipate all of his children to know their gift and utilize the gift he placed inside of them. 30 When this seems to happen, God is the only one who will get the recognition because it is not based on a person's ordinary powers or abilities. The leader acknowledges that it is their influence to equip the people of God to stand before Jesus Christ and will not be regretful.” 31 Task two of all the leaders will train the believers and equip them to progress in their faith to the degree where they will blossom into leaders and make Christian disciples. Conclusion The Great Commission's framework is developed from Christian leadership. The leaders should be devoted to disciples-making. Christian leaders should seek to expand their connection with Christ and be able to lend a hand in helping other Christians. Nonetheless, leaders should train other people to become disciples of Christ. The focus needs to be on following Christ and becoming mentors who demonstrate the Great Commission or the instruction of God by growing the plain truth. Christian leaders need to establish a plan that helps them focus and ensure their church is growing leaders who are divinely rooted in God, flourishing, and progressing. A Christian leadership development plan will also aid the leaders in creating a doctrine of Christian leadership entrenched in the main passages that will develop the support of their leadership 30 Ibid, 232. 31 Ibid.
plans. The methods will benefit from the theology of leadership as an attribute of the divine truths associated with the leaders and leadership team. Many styles and models of Christian leadership should be considered among the methods to measure which models are capable of the leadership and church. Furthermore, the technique should echo how to construct a powerful church atmosphere that will allow believers and Christian leaders to complete the task of equipping disciples. Lastly, the leadership plan for development should summarize the protocol for evolving disciples and leadership that advance the church's mission. Also, leaders who embrace the Christian leadership developmental plan will ensure they are dedicated to God's mission. Bibliography https://illuminated-integration.com
