After watching the videos, please discuss what you would do in the first video regarding
the change and the coin flipping and how you feel about the self-driving cars.
Also include how the videos relate to Chapter 1 in your textbook.

I can relate to the checkout story as I once was a cashier for many years. Typically drawers are
counted each shift and where I worked you would input everything and it would tell you either
how short or how over you were. If I was in a checkout and given the incorrect amount of
change back I would give them it back if I had noticed. I don’t think it is worth that cashier's job
or disciplinary action if you keep it versus being honest. The cashier could greatly appreciate it
and even help them become better in the future due to your honesty. Each workplace wou;lld
have a different policy. As for the 2nd video, the thought of a self-driving car I don’t think is the
best thing to happen. I understand the thought of it taking Human Error out of the equation
however I believe too much wrong in nature could happen. I believe maximizing your safety
should be the first priority for all. Out of the choices of the cars I think it would be best to choose
the one that saves as many lives v just yours as well as I prefer the random decision vs
predetermined decisions. To take into account I think both videos relate to the Ethical
Considerations in both scenarios someone is receiving negative consequences. When deciding
on choices for your dilemma, you should always take into account both the effect it will have on
you along with the effect it would have on others.
