FALSE
1) The outcome of leadership could be summarised as: "Leaders make positive things happen in a principled manner that would not have otherwise
happened.
2) A person has and holds a set of values. These values are the basis for the decisions that a person makes. These decisions usually reflect the
priorities of that person. In other words, "your priorities are based on the decisions which you make, and your decisions are founded on your
values".
3) "The ends justifies the means" is not a valid position for a person who holds ethical behaviour as a positive value. This ("The ends justifies the
means is not a valid position ...") is true despite a favourable, positive outcome because the "means", the way in which actions, acts, tasks, or
activities were undertaken could have been unethical.

The set of values shown in this question is a short list of acceptable and honourable professional values. Certainly, striving towards any of these
is admirable. There are indeed many, many more professional values, and many different categories of values: professional, personal, family,
societal, spiritual, physical, emotional, environmental, and so on.
Values are individualistic, and of your own choosing. There is no "right set" of values, except to say that your values should be "acceptable to
your profession", or "acceptable to your family", or "acceptable to society at large" i.e. intended to be positive and beneficial not only to
yourself but to all others with whom you interact. Having a value of "honesty" is socially acceptable whereas having a value of "cheating the
other guy" is not socially acceptable in our modern Canadian society.
Values can also be "negative" i.e. "not beneficial to society" or "not acceptable to society at large". If one were a bank robber, having the value
"no respect for rightful ownership or property" would be necessary to be a successful bank robber, but obviously this value is neither "beneficial
to society" nor "acceptable to society at large". Our aim here is to coach you on a positive set of values.
