Expressing Your Views Assessment A personal philosophy statement expresses your belief or perspective about a truth you hold dear. Drawing inspiration from other writers who have attempted to communicate their wisdom on life, nature, and the word, you'll craft your own personal philosophy paragraph. Your paragraph should include a clear claim supported with evidence one example of abductive, deductive, or inductive reasoning two rhetorical appeals (ethos, kairos, logos, or pathos) two rhetorical devices correct grammar, usage, and punctuation Audience Who are you speaking to? My peers Purpose What do you want your statement to achieve? To provide an understanding of why family is so important. Claim What is your claim? Family is one of the most important and prestigious things one can have. They will always support you, love you, and leave your side through the highs and lows. Personal Philosophy Statement Type your response here. Your personal philosophy statement should be at least 7-10 sentences in length. Family is a very vital thing to me. Family has always been there for me to support me and my goals when it comes to things like sports or school. They have always pushed me to be the best version of myself I can be and fueled me to be the best. Family will always pick you up when down and show you the right ways. My family has always been there for me emotionally, I know with family I can tell them how I'm feeling or what I'm going through without being judged. Family has always made me comfortable and like a safe place when it comes to opening up about the way I feel. I love my family and I know my family loves me I will always be grateful for mine and wouldn’t choose anything else in this world over them.
